Come see Wendy and I at the 2nd Annual Fall Festival and Car Show in North Battleford this Saturday! Instead of our booth at the Farmer's Market, we will be set up in the parking lot of City Hall selling our fresh roasted, organic coffee. We will also be selling fresh coffee and homemade cookies .. an irresistible combination! We plan to be there from 11 to 4pm. Join us the weekend after for "From Bean to Cup - The Alchemy of Coffee Roasting" right here at Bogart's Bay on Birch Lake. At this free event, in partnership with Culture Days, you can see how we roast our coffee on our unique, charcoal-fired roaster - and enjoy a free extra-fresh cup of our coffee right after |

If you'd like to try some yourself, come see us at the Farmer's Market in N. Battleford Saturday morning or give us a call and we can tell you which stores will be stocking it - or figure out the easiest way to get some to you!
Bogart's Bay comes to North Battleford!
We're also delighted that Kitchen Zone, now relocated to 1462 - 100th Street in NB, is offering a special blend of Bogart's Bay Organic Coffee in their espresso's, cappuccino's, americano's and lattes! We invite you to stop in and try their coffee - we plan to on Saturday, after Farmer's Market, and will be sure to take some pictures to show you next week.
Bogart's Bay is the only roaster offering this coffee in Saskatchewan.
We will be introducing it at our stand at the Farmer's Market in North Battleford this Saturday morning if you'd like to try some! Until we can secure more of this very special coffee it will not be sold in stores and only be available from us directly or at the Farmer's Market in N. Battleford. Wendy and I, and of course, our growing puppy, Bogart, join in wishing everyone best Solstice wishes as we begin a new solar year and welcome the return of the sun.. Our prayer flags fly with our wish that all may be well and happy in the year ahead. It's a -30C day here at Bogart's Bay, and (despite a frozen sewer) we are all warm, well fed, and feeling very blessed. We're most grateful for all the support we've received this year and will keep doing our best to bring you the freshest and best organic coffee we can.
Wendy and I enjoy roasting in winter. We've found that we can do it quite comfortably down to -20C - as long as there's not too much wind to cool the heat envelope. Today it was about -14C. |
