We have a new member of the Bogart's Bay Family to announce ... who else? - Bogart himself!
Bogart was originally named "Half-ton" by the Battleford's Humane Society because he was rescued after being thrown off the back of a half ton and is about 6 to 8 weeks old.
He's quickly learning all about the coffee roasting business and becoming oriented to life and work at Bogart's Bay.
He will be coming with Wendy and I to Saturday's farmer's market in N. Battleford for a meet and greet.
Do come by our booth and smell the fresh roasted coffee (we will be roasting this morning) and shake his paw!
Of course, he's not the original Bogart of Bogart's Bay.
That distinction belongs to Orly Bogart, a homesteader here who was killed in action in World War 1. More about him in a future post!
Many thanks to all who came to our open house last weekend - especially to Byron and Lana for the impromptu performance on guitar and harp! It may become an annual event!
